A Call to Prayer on the Fifth Anniversary of the Tree of Life Massacre
This past Sunday, 20 representatives from a variety of faith traditions, gathered along with over a hundred worshipers at St. Paul’s Cathedral in Oakland. The service recognized the fifth anniversary of the Tree of Life mass shooting, which occurred on October 27, 2018. In this week’s letter, Rev. Brian Wallace asks us to take time to pray for those impacted by what happened at Tree of Life five years ago, and to pray for the end of hatred and violence in our world.

Pittsburgh Presbytery is searching for our next General Minister to support congregations in their missional callings, as well as support pastors and candidates for ministry as they seek to discern the emerging kingdom of God in many different contexts. Vietnam Mission Vision Trip – April 18-27
Our purpose is to learn from and be inspired by Christians in Vietnam through involvement with numerous brothers and sisters in Christ. We will engage with various ministries, including the Presbyterian Church, Bible Society, UUC seminary, campus ministry, media ministry, and an Unreached People Group, to listen, pray with, and encourage them.
