Jesus’ road to Calvary underscores that having everything look pristine and work in good order is not his highest priority; indeed, we know all too well the ugliness that can be found in the church. Is your church a learning laboratory? Is your ministry taking on new shapes and forms? Are you finding new ways to be faithful to the ministry that you’ve carried out for generations? If you answered “yes” to any of those questions, you might want to consider being a field education site for a seminary student. The Administrative Commission on Transformation (ACT) has grants available to support student ministers as they learn new approaches to ministry for the future of the Church. The Presbyterian Women in Pittsburgh Presbytery are having their Spring Gathering on Saturday, April 23, at the Pittsburgh Presbytery building. You can register by filling out this form. Presbyterian Women is an independent organization within the Presbyterian Church (USA) of more than 300,000 women. The programming and resource options for the organization offer a variety of ways for women to live out their faith in an inclusive, caring community that strengthens the PC(USA).
