March 2023 Transition Updates

Since the February Transition Update, a lot has happened, and a lot is happening, and this is the latest as to where we are with the transition. There are staffing changes, the Special Nominating Committee is beginning their work, and preparations are underway to receive the Landscape Study at the May Presbytery meeting. Session Minutes Reading

It’s time for our Clerks of Session to sign up for 2022 Session Minutes Reading! The Ecclesiastical Committee will hold in-person minutes reviews by appointment at the presbytery center on the following dates: April 22, 2023, May 20, 2023, September 16, 2023, and another date in October TBD. In addition, the Ecclesiastical Committee will once again offer an opportunity to participate in an electronic minutes exchange. Please fill out this form with your preferences so we can help schedule you with a Minutes reading partner, either online or in person. Care Partner Tool Kit

The Care Partner Tool Kit is a collaboration between the Presbyterian Older Adult Ministry Network and the Association of Partners in Christian Education with the Office of Christian Formation in the Presbyterian Mission Agency, PCUSA. Included in this Tool Kit are Quicksheets with information, ideas, and resource links that will assist individuals in the role of care partner and help faith communities in supporting them. The information is designed to help people approach the role with confidence in bite sizes and remind them they are serving God in all they do for others.
