COVID-19 Resources

With the landscape of COVID-19 changing quickly it is recommended that the switch to in person gatherings be postponed, so many churches are continuing to offer virtual worship options.  As a reminder, we have resources to assist in the creation of online services.  Rev. Brian Wallace, Associate Minister, hosted a webinar titled “Live Streaming for the Long Haul” as well as gathering other resources to help churches with this process.  Check out the links for the recorded webinar and more information here.

Also a reminder that we have several downloadable worship resources for churches to use in the production of their pre-recorded services.  The Presbytery of Carlisle is also offering sermons to assist churches.

You can also refer to the Faith and COVID-19: Resource Repository as a helpful resource.

Finally, Wayne Yost, Stated Clerk of the Synod of the Trinity, wrote up some guidelines for Ordination and Installation in the COVID age when we are instructed not to gather in person.  You can access that informational letter here.

Continue to check back with the PC(USA) and the Synod of the Trinity sites which offer many helpful resources as well, which are continually updated.

While we continue to hold a lot our virtual meetings on Zoom, please remember to review these guidelines to keep the meetings secure and running smoothly.

Thank you for diligence in serving your congregations while keeping their safety as a top priority.  Check back in often for updates!
