December Letter to the Presbytery from the Stated Clerk

Pre-Presbytery Meeting with the International Partnership
The Anti-Racism Transformation Team, the Peacemaking Ministry Team, and International Partnership Ministry Team of Pittsburgh Presbytery invite you to a pre-Presbytery celebration meal on Thursday, December 7 at the Union Presbyterian Church. Our deep hope is that you will become energized and encouraged by the thought of our connectedness with God’s people in Malawi and South Sudan. In May of 2024, we anticipate hosting a group of 20 pilgrims from these churches – and the trip will be better if your congregation is involved! Come and learn what possibilities exist for individuals and congregations in 2024! You can register for the event on the same form as the Presbytery meeting registration.
On Thursday, November 30, 2023, the Commission on Preparation for Ministry (CPM) will host a Final Discernment Event at the Presbytery Building. We will be presenting Victoria Wellstead as a Candidate for Ordination, Pending Call. All minister members, equalized elders, and elder commissioners to the December Presbytery meeting are encouraged to attend. Please register for the event here.
