The word “holy” is widely misunderstood. Holiness is about belonging. When we confess the holiness of the church, we affirm that it belongs to the Lord, and to the Lord alone. Interfaith Prayer Service for Ukraine

Pittsburgh Presbytery is co-sponsoring an interfaith prayer service for peace in Ukraine on Sunday, March 6, 2:30 pm, at St. Paul’s Cathedral in Oakland. Everyone is warmly invited to attend. A statement on the conflict in Ukraine from the Stated Clerk of our General Assembly is posted here.

Presbytery Meeting Digest

A digest of the proceedings of the presbytery meeting on February 24 is available here. We apologize to those who were unsuccessful in joining the meeting because of an error message they received when attempting to sign on. The original published Zoom credentials mistakenly linked to one of our Zoom accounts that is licensed for a maximum of 100 participants. Once our staff realized the error it attempted to send new credentials to all who had signed up for the meeting.

Black History is American History

The Black Church is and has always served as a safe haven for African American and a place for creating individual, systemic, and political change within the black community. Celebrate the history of our black churches in our presbytery through the voices of their leaders.

The East End Youth Ministry was celebrated in the Synod of the Trinity’s Featured News! The East End Youth Ministry is housed at Beulah Presbyterian Churchbut is a collaboration of several local congregations, and works not only with students but also does its best to bond with the youth’s families to make sure its support goes beyond the teenagers. As well as their ministry to the teenagers, they work alongside families to provide household repairs, budget counseling, and resources for food and medical assistance.

Coffee with Clergy

Come treat yourself on Monday mornings at 10am to Coffee with Clergy! It’s a space for Pastors to shake off the Monday morning drudge with coffee, laughter, and great conversation among colleagues.
