Coffee with Clergy

Come treat yourself on Monday mornings at 10am to Coffee with Clergy! It’s a space for Pastors to shake off the Monday morning drudge with coffee, laughter, and great conversation among colleagues. B.Y.O.C. (or tea)!

Peace and Global Witness Offering

The Peace & Global Witness Offering encourages the church to cast off anxiety and fear, discord and division, and embrace our God’s mission of reconciliation to those around the corner and around the world. We invite you to share God’s peace with our Afghan and Haitian neighbors through the Peace & Global Witness Offering.

It is not too late for you to STILL APPLY for a Self-Development of People Grant. At the local level we fund groups with a minimum of five or more (minimum of ten individuals need at Synod/National level). The September 10th Application Deadline has been extended until NOON, Monday September 27, 2021. Please REVIEW the SDOP Powerpoint; DOWNLOAD the Application; and SUBMIT Immediately to SDOP@PGHPresbytery.org.

This summer’s Presbyterian Association of Musicians annual conference at Montreat Conference Center in Montreat, North Carolina, was held in person and online. But if you missed it, a recordings package of the 2021 Worship and Music Conference, “Gather in My Name,” which includes 56 videos, with worship services, evening events, and livestreamed classes, is available on the PAM website.

The recipient of this year’s Coleman-Patrick Scholarship is Ms. Kiara Rockymore of East Liberty Presbyterian Church. Members of the Pittsburgh NBPC wish to express our sincere THANK YOU to all who contributed to the Scholarship Fund. This ministry emphasizes the importance of post-secondary education and encourages the youth in our communities.
