News from Pittsburgh Presbytery

Perhaps the best way to approach Trinity is not as an idea, but as a description of how God lives and moves. And as such, it offers a model for how we are created to live and move. This is the biggest human problem – living and moving in a way that rightly reflects the divine image we bear. Are we pushing against the current of our destiny? In this week’s meditation, The Trinity – A Most Practical Doctrine, Rev. Dr. Sheldon W. Sorge addresses this question and more.

The 8 Habits of Evangelism is a new PCUSA resource that identifies and explores eight practices of faith that lead the church on a journey into the love of God, the lives of our neighbors, and the transformation of creation. It builds on the conviction that the community of faith is to be seen, heard, and experienced as a representation of God’s reign and peace. This resource is available now in English, Spanish, and Korean, and it is completely free! Learn more about 8 Habits, and download its materials, which include images for social media posting, here.
