MISSION

We are committed to a program of evangelism that will seek to present the gospel of Jesus Christ to every member of the university community. It is our goal to help those Christians involved in our ministry to grown toward maturity under the Lordship of Christ in the following areas: evangelism, spiritual disciplines, relationships, personal holiness, social justice, vocation, world mission, the church. We are committed to equip students to intelligently respond to God's call to go and disciple all nations.


CURRENT PROGRAMS

• Multiple Bible studies; weekly fellowship and teaching program; personal counseling; leadership development; assisting in ministries at church; visiting shut-ins; various social justice issues such as Habitat for Humanity workdays, Cross-cultural projects. Short-term mission trips outside U.S. during college vacations, and helping in soup kitchens.

HISTORY

Bellefield began its college ministry in the late 60's with Rev. Robert Long. The ministry has grown because in relationship with the Coalition for Christian Outreach, we have been able to have more staff than we could have afforded.
